Machine Translation Summit XIII

The thirteenth Machine Translation Summit, organized by the International Association for Machine Translation (IAMT) and hosted by the Asia-Pacific Association for Machine Translation (AAMT), will be held in Xiamen, China, from 19 to 23 September 2011.

 

Deadline for the submission of papers : June 20th, 2011

 

MT Summit XIII will feature a comprehensive program that will include research papers, reports on users' experiences, discussions of policy issues, invited talks, panels, exhibits, tutorials, and workshops. We define machine translation in the broadest possible sense, to include not just fully automatic MT but tools for translation support and multilingual text processing as well.

 

We invite all those with an interest in translation automation researchers, developers, translation service providers, users, or managers to participate in the conference.

 

MT Summit XIII hereby invites original submissions on all aspects machine and machine-aided translation. The submissions must be in English and fall into one of three categories:

 

  * research (or theoretical) papers

  * user's studies (including manager's experiences)

  * system presentations (with optional demos)

Important Dates

 

  June 20th, 2011 Paper submissions due

  August 1st, 2011 Author notification

  August 19th, 2011 Final versions due

 

The program committee will be chaired by Hiromi Nakaiwa (mtsummit_pc@cslab.kecl.ntt.co.jp) from Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, Japan. All submissions will be reviewed by at least three

experts.
